"Making movement work for you"
Meet Tracey
Certified Fitness Trainer
and Personal Coach
I am Tracey Morgan, the founder of Re-Engineering Fitness, and here is my back ground story.
In my early twenties I discovered Shotokan Karate, which I practised steadily for 4 years. This led me to try Boxing, MMA, Wrestling, and Brazilian Jui-Jitsu because I really liked this style / type of training because it made me feel alive. It was the only time I felt alive. I would also Run and do CrossFit for fun and fitness when I could.
As my work commitments grew and I went on to study engineering at University at the same time, I found I had less time to train as my energy was focussed on my career and studies.
For my 40th Birthday I went away for a week with my family and when I returned to work a shocking realisation hit me hard. Working in the Building Services and HVAC Industry for 24 years, first as an adult trainee then through to being a qualified Engineer and Project Manager, I had become extremely unfulfilled with my life. The industry and profession that I had once loved was now just a job to pay my bills.

I had fallen out of love with the thing I had put so much of my time, attention and health into.
I desperately wanted and needed a change in my life but felt completely lost with no idea what to do!
I felt disconnected from my life and myself.
I found myself suffering from depression, which was physically and mentally draining, for many years. I didn’t want people to know, so I started lying about how I felt, or to be more precise how I did not feel much of anything. So I pretended everything was ok.
Which meant I was just existing.
Close Family and Friends noticed and whilst out at lunch with a friend one day she helped and encouraged me to get back into training, which I did. This return really helped me to reconnect with myself physically and mentally.
It was this same friend who asked whether I had ever thought about becoming a qualified Personal Trainer? She felt that I could use my academic skills, past training and life experiences to work in the Health & Wellness Industry.

To connect with other people who were struggling with maintaining their health and fitness amidst busy lives.
To offer my skills and experience to help other people who had let their fitness fall by the wayside.
I had not thought about it at all!
She saw ways to the connect the dots of my life experience that I was too busy and stressed to notice. A seed was planted that day...
My Vision
RE-ENGINEERING
FITNESS
So, fast forward to the present and I am now a qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer working with normal people, who are busy with life’s demands to put their physical and mental wellbeing first.
I show them how they can reconnect with themselves and their life through movement, exercise and better food choices in a safe, fun and educational environment. I encourage them to re-engineer their life into the one they had always planned for themselves.
